Phases

The Werm Token ($WERM) will initially be used to bootstrap player liquidity.

Phase 1: Ponzinomics

In Phase 1, the majority of emissions (90%) will go to players who have invested in upgrade cards and vaults and thus have ‘auto earning power’. These will only be able to be purchased with $WERM, providing the initial demand for the token.

This period will last for 15 days with a total emission of 100M tokens.

Phase 2: Play-to-earn

In Phase 2, the balance will shift as we start to reward players of the game, who will now receive 80% of the emissions. Because Werm takes a fee from each entry into the game, this phase will kickstart revenue generation which can later be used for buybacks.

This period will also last 15 days with a total of 100M tokens.

Phase 3: Win-to-earn

Finally, we transition to a win-to-earn model where there are no inflationary token incentives. To make money from the game, you will have to win against other players.

Werm will continue to take a fee from games, with a portion of profits going to token buybacks, thus making the token deflationary.
